U.S. almost victorious against Slovenia

Dedicated soccer fans were up early today as the U.S. team played Slovenia at 7:00 a.m. Roscoe's Famous Deli in Chino Hills has been hosting many viewing parties and give-aways for the world cup. Roscoe's offered a delicious breakfast special for those who got up early to watch the game. U.S. and England fans were in attendance cheering for the U.S.

Many will say that the U.S was robbed of a victory by poor refereeing. At Roscoe's that was certainly the feeling among fans.
Slovenia started the game off strong. They had two shots on goal in the first half and scored both.Scoring the first in the 13th minute and the second in the 42nd minute.
At half-time the score was 2-0 Slovenia.

U.S fan Mark Johnson, said "we're in trouble because it's very hard to break down their defense so I don't know if we have two goals or not, I'll take a tie at this point." Johnson added, "if we push forward for a tie it also opens up for a counter-attack and that can be a problem." In terms of who can win the world cup, he thinks it's a tough one, now that Germany and Spain both lost in previous matches. He believes it will be either Argentina or Brazil.
Another fan, Thomas Ryan said, "I'm not scared, I think we're going to come back and we're going to prevail with at least a draw and I think we're going to make some history and get the win." Ryan hoped Slovenia would pick up a red card and U.S would score their 3rd goal to get the win.
Jason Sanchez, who had an American flag tied around his neck, said " I predict a 2-2, I think U.S. has better chances, Slovenia is kind of going with the counter-attacks and I think we're controlling more the game."
The fans were right as U.S scored in the 48th minute and then tied the score in the 82nd.
Here's the reaction to the first goal: (sorry for the shaky video, i was really excited! =))

Here's the crowd's reaction to the second shot:

The US shot a third goal and the fans went crazy but the goal scored wasn't counted by the referee, who called a penalty accusing the USA for being offsides. The fans starting screaming in disbelief.

Fans in disbelief of the call the ref made
Here's the reaction to the third goal:
After a great come-back by the U.S. team, it was a 2-2 tie against Slovenia.
World cup fan Jason Zusak, believed the game was unfair and the U.S. deserved to win the game today.
